Once enrolled the classroom teacher can login, select the class, enter their message and way they go!

So many possibilities just jump into my head with this tool!

  • Test reminders
  • Parent notifications
  • Coach posts to players for inspirational comments before game
  • Principal posts with staff updates
  • Coach posts to parents of game cancellations or relocation
  • PTA posts to teachers to share events

What a great tool!

Unique resources. Plenty to discover and share with students.

I like how this site breaks down the clips by popular topics, presidents, or my famous people. I wish they provided embedded codes for these clips, but direct links will work.

Nice resource!

Meet the new Google Maps. Looks like a great map program that customizes its points based off of your selections. As an educator I hope we don’t loose our ability to make custom maps for Language Arts and History projects. One of our favorite activities is to create literature trips using maps to show the events in stories or historical locations. While we can always go back to Google Earth for this, it is not a option for Chromebook users.

The new Google Maps has not been launched at this time. We shall see what other options we will have with this update.

Google Doc Templates return via Google Drive Apps

If you have been looking for the Template Gallery via web search there is some good news. A Google Drive App has been created to simply this process.

  1. Login to your Google Account and go to Google Drive
  2. Select the Create button and Choose “Connect More Apps” at the bottom of your menu
  3. Scroll through the apps or search template to find the Google Template App
  4.  Hover you mouse over the icon and click the + Connect Button to add this app to your Google Drive account. Clicking the App title will give you more information about the App

  5. Go back to drive and select the create button. You should see the Template app which will direct you to the template gallery.

If you do not see the template app or any others after connecting them to drive you may need to talk to your Google Apps admin to turn on drive apps for your domain.
